It really is simple. The keyboard is long enough for most compositions, it’s lightweight, thin, and works immediately upon being plugged in. The keys respond to the different amounts of pressure, and if you are using Reason (like I am) you will find yourself with a powerful synthesizer in your hands.

    I am actually Sarah’s Son…

This keyboard had a great feel to it, once you get used to the slight springyness of the keys (as compared to a piano). Setup was incredibly easy, just plug it in and turn it on, USB powered. Works with Garage Band and Logic Pro.

I use the music program Logic Pro 9 on my Mac, and it works wonderfully with this keyboard. You can play so many different instruments. I prefer the simplicity of this product compared to other keyboards; the pitch bend and modulation wheels are easy and fun to use, and the octave change buttons extend the notes, as if you have more keys.

If you buy this keyboard, I would recommend the M-Audio SP-2 US65010 Sustain Pedal Piano Style Sustain for Keyboards for another great effect. It adds a whole other layer to your music. Just plug it in the back of the keyboard, and it has the perfect resistance for different sustain levels.

    Enjoy!

I’ve previously used the 49 key version of this keyboard as I now own the 61 key. I must say, though these are the only two MIDI keyboards I’ve ever used, in comparison to regular synths, these keysboards rock! Aside from all the bells and whistles, the fact that the keys are semi-weighted has to be my favorite. You’ll love this product. I’ve never had any problems at all. Give it a try!!!

For the amount you spend, with this product, you definitely get the most bang for your buck. The keys are solid and of high quality. Currently using the controller with reason & you couldn’t ask for anything better. Note* there is a SLIGHT delay on keys, but so mineut it does not affect performance at all. Overall great product.

I got this keyboard when I was visiting family in the U.S. and needed something to practice and write my music on.

This is the only keyboard I found with semi-weighted keys which comes in 3 sizes (49, 61 or 88 keys)

the touch feel is great! it also has on board controls for volume, velocity, pitch bend and advanced controls.

it comes with a USB or MIDI inputs as well as an analog output and AC input if you don’t want to use the USB.

they keyboard itself is very light-weighted and is carry-able if you need to travel with it.

overall it was one of the best investments I’ve made in a long time!

The Keyboard was everything I hoped it would be. Easy to setup, and no wall plug mess. Works great with applications like Garage Band and Sibelius. The keys have a nice feel to them too.
